Overview:
DrinkingStraws.Glass sells hand-blown glass straws, a part of their mission to reduce plastic in our oceans. They were in need of a website redesign and an upgraded experience on WooCommerce. I worked with them to establish brand guidelines and build a responsive WordPress site.
My contributions:
Brand style guide, wireframes and mockups, website build in WordPress, WooCommerce setup, product photography.
Challenge:
Optimize their e-commerce site for a more seamless shopping experience.
Objective:
Increase conversion rates, improve SEO, page speed, and UX.
Solution:
A redesigned, responsive WordPress website, complete with new photos of their best selling products.

I put together a UI kit to establish the basic branding guidelines for DrinkingStraws.Glass.
My work for DSG has included product and lifestyle photography to better highlight the quality of their products.
The new site was optimized to look good and function well on any screen size. Some of the features that added to functionality included product filtering, improved navigation & search, and product variation swatches.
